Burning Stars…

“Our Mother’s faults become stars in our eyes,
Our childhood becomes our night fights,
How often do we gaze beyond the stars to search for our significance, which is none.
To be in awe of something that shines significance for its lifetime without waver or dampened spirits;
How might I shine on brighter after death than what I have in life.
Will burning stars in my mind engrave myself among them; why do I need to shine on forever,
Why not a life of admiring shine to be remembered as my name, rather than being remembered in vain.” – L.A MacDonald, 4.6.2017
